We held a puzzle challenge day for some of our senior students and invited students from one of our mainstream partner schools. It was inspiring to see both sets of youngsters interacting and working towards a goal in a fun environment. Students were also able to show progress in key areas of using and applying and space, shape and measure, including discussing patterns and problem solving. The puzzle activities are fantastic for developing our students’ spatial awareness, co-ordination, social and fine motor skills and we have now incorporated many puzzles into our daily lessons. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these events to other special schools.

I didn't even realise I was doing maths! I really enjoyed working as a team with my friends trying to find solutions to the problems. It was a great feeling when we solved the problem together

We have hosted The Happy Puzzle Company a few times now and their latest Smart
Thinkers programme took everything to the next level. The students were engaged from start to finish, and the staff were impressed by how well the students collaborated on the tasks. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Happy Puzzle Company to any other school.

“Some of our students really struggle with maths... suddenly they believe they can conquer things that would have previously caused them to give up. That has come from your workshops. Thank you.”

“Absolutely outstanding and highly effective. Both staff and students were blown away by the Puzzle Challenge Day and we are reaping the rewards. We have also seen an immediate change in the students. It’s tangible and it’s remarkable. Incredible workshops and we are feeling the benefits!”
